N-Butane is the industry standard for BHO — high solvency, well-understood evaporation profile, and widely used in both small-batch and commercial-scale operations. Propane runs at higher pressure and lower temperature, extracting a more robust terpene profile, but lesser cannabinoid yield.
Isobutane offers a lower boiling point than n-butane, useful for terpene-forward applications and blends. Our 70/30 N-Butane/Propane blend is our most popular product — engineered to balance yield with terpene preservation for concentrate producers who want the best of both gases. Custom 2-part and 3-part blends are also available at any ratio.
